The Canada-made “BIGHORN” Multiphase Flow Meter.

NGT Energy is developing the Alberta-made BIGHORN multiphase flow meter (BIGHORN MPFM) with an AI-powered Flow Model, which will be first of its kind in the Americas to provide accurate measurement of all the different phases (oil, gas, and water) at once in flow from nonconventional operations, including in thermal applications (SAGD and CSS).

For the BIGHORN MPFM, our design team has combined the most advanced proven scientific metering principles with sensors and electronics updated over all existing commercialized technologies in a unique and innovative design that is tailored specifically for the certification processes required in the Americas. It will function in the most difficult of nonconventional conditions, including thermal production.
