The Canadian “Gyrfalcon” NATO Class I Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS)
In collaboration with AerDyca, NGTE is developing the cost-effective Gyrfalcon drone, with laser ranging technology, to be fabricated in Canada. Gyrfalcon is categorized as NATO Class I in size and takeoff weight capacity (up to 25 kg), but with instrumental technology of a Class II or Class III drone for more complex missions.
Gyrfalcon is being designed for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
Field test in Canada expected early 2027.
